Technical assistance guarantees and conditions

Product and Maintenance Service Guarantee

We are a family owned and operated business.

  • All New products sold by RecoverTech have a two (2) year warranty, all reconditioned products sold by RecoverTech have a (1) year warranty against manufacturing defects.

  • Exceptions are:

  • Consumables: batteries, chargers and quick-wear products.

  • Parts / Spares for laptops, smartphones and tablets or repair parts, the warranty is 3 months.

  • Batteries, Chargers and LCD s (Portable) the warranty is one (1) year.

  • RecoverTech Maintenance and Repair Services have a 30-day warranty.

  • This guarantee can be activated whenever the failure is not due to an improper use of the equipment or if it has not been subject to intervention by the Customer or by third parties outside RecoverTech.

  • Also excluded from the guarantee are damage resulting from falls or impact, viruses or spyware, voltage peaks, excessive current, floods, thunderstorms, fires and due to natural causes, namely earthquakes, landslides, floods caused by rain , etc.

  • Failure to report the defect within 30 days of the Warranty after verification implies the expiry of the repair rights.

  • NOTE: The manufacturer can condition the warranty in cases of professional use, that is, if the product or thing is for professional use, (billed in the name and with a company taxpayer) the warranty can be reduced to one (1) year.

  • No label must be removed or erased, otherwise the product will lose its warranty.

  • All products with visible physical defects lose their warranty. Ex: Processors, Graphics Cards, Memories or Motherboards burned, or with broken parts, and or altered

  • All products that present an anomaly should be sent to the care of our technical department, with the respective copy of the purchase invoice and the description of the breakdown in writing as detailed as possible.

  • Only products in their original box with their cables, accessories, drivers and manuals will be accepted for warranty purposes.

Information and Data contained in the Equipment

We are a family owned and operated business.

  • All the Information provided to us by the Client, regarding the equipment problem, will be used exclusively to improve the performance of the services to be provided by RecoverTech.

  • RecoverTech is not responsible for any direct, accidental, special or consequential losses or damages, including downtime costs, damages resulting from data loss, software replacement or obtaining replacement products or services and loss of profits.

  • As a result of handling the equipment, the Customer must always make backup copies of their documents or request the technical service RecoverTech to do so. Any loss of important data not previously informed by the Client excludes any direct liability of RecoverTech.

  • RecoverTech is not responsible for any loss of information or data contained in the Customer's equipment, whether due to Software problems or due to Hardware malfunction, or in the event that such data are non-existent at the beginning of the assistance.

  • Following the handling of the equipment, RecoverTech may become aware of confidential information, so, for the protection of Customers, RecoverTech is obliged to keep absolute confidentiality about that same information, except if it is illegal or criminal.

  • If full access to the equipment may be required, the customer must provide RecoverTech with access codes. If you do not intend to do so, the equipment will only be subject to intervention after formatting in the presence of the customer.

Conditions and values ​​accepted in the repair

We are a family owned and operated business.

  • MINIMUM REPAIR VALUE: In the event that the final budget does not exceed the amount indicated in the document issued at the reception of the material to be repaired, the equipment is immediately repaired and made available to the customer.

  • BUDGETS: The customer will be informed of the repair budget whenever it exceeds the value of that document. In order to start the repair, financial signaling of the budgeted amount may be necessary.

Equipment availability

We are a family owned and operated business.

  • The customer will be contacted in order to inform about the date of collection of the equipment and must present this document.

  • After 30 days of the indicated date, a storage fee of 1EURO + VAT per day will be charged, for the safekeeping and maintenance of the equipment not collected.

  • After 90 days, you will receive a last communication informing you of the addition of 90 Euros + VAT for storage and you are granted an additional eight (8) calendar days, counting from the date of registration of this letter, to redeem the equipment. If you fail to do so, it will be considered abandoned, and RecoverTech will have the right of ownership over it.
